The participating students—Paras, Surya Ranjan, Vanya Malhotra, Aryan Thakur, and Suryavansh Parihar—worked alongside experienced professionals across the fields of finance, taxation, banking, and the automobile industry.

Learning from Industry Experts

As part of the programme, students trained under the guidance of renowned financial professionals including CA Rakesh Khosla, CA Rahul Malhotra, and Taxation Advocate Vikas Malhotra. Through direct observation and interaction, they gained practical insights into accounting principles, auditing practices, taxation procedures, GST compliance, income tax filing, financial documentation, and the ethical responsibilities of finance professionals.
The experience allowed students to understand how financial records are maintained, analyzed, and audited to support effective business decision-making, giving them a realistic perspective on the day-to-day responsibilities of Chartered Accountants and taxation experts.

Exploring the Automobile Industry at NEXA Pathankot

Students also underwent industry exposure at NEXA Pathankot, where they observed the functioning of a modern automobile dealership. They learned about sales and marketing strategies, customer relationship management, inventory management, financial operations, showroom administration, and after-sales services.
The internship helped students understand how various departments work together to create seamless customer experiences while ensuring operational efficiency and business growth.

Understanding Modern Banking at SBI Damtal Branch

Another significant learning experience was provided by the State Bank of India, Damtal Branch, where students explored the workings of India’s banking sector. They observed customer service operations, account opening procedures, cash management, digital banking services, loan processing, financial inclusion initiatives, cybersecurity practices, and regulatory compliance.

The visit also highlighted the critical role banks play in promoting financial literacy, supporting economic development, and enabling digital financial services in today’s rapidly evolving economy.
