
PWS Students Gain Real-World Exposure Through Summer Internship Programme
July 15, 2026Partap World School (PWS), Pathankot continues its legacy of excellence as two of its NCC Naval Wing cadets, Ramira Singh and Arnav Singh, brought laurels to the school by representing the Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh & Chandigarh (PHHP&C) Directorate at the prestigious All India Nau Sainik Camp (AINSC) 2026, held at INS Shivaji, Lonavala, from 30th June to 12th July 2026.
Selected through a highly competitive screening process, the two cadets earned the opportunity to compete with the finest NCC Naval cadets from across India. Their participation at the national-level camp reflects their commitment, perseverance, and the high standards of NCC training at Partap World School.
PHHP&C Directorate Secures 6th Position Nationally
The PHHP&C Directorate team delivered an outstanding performance throughout the camp, securing an impressive 6th position overall among directorates from across the country. The achievement highlights the team’s exceptional discipline, teamwork, and operational excellence in various naval competitions.
The biggest moment of pride came when Cadet Ramira Singh won the Gold Medal in the Health & Hygiene Competition, demonstrating exceptional awareness, discipline, and knowledge. Her achievement is a testament to her dedication and consistent hard work.
A Platform to Develop Future Leaders
The All India Nau Sainik Camp is one of the most prestigious training camps conducted by the NCC Naval Wing. It offers cadets intensive exposure to naval traditions, leadership development, maritime operations, and adventure activities while promoting discipline, teamwork, and patriotism.
Throughout the camp, participants competed in a diverse range of events, including:

- Seamanship Practical
- Boat Pulling
- Boat Rigging
- Drill
- Firing
- Semaphore
- Ship Modelling
- Health & Hygiene
The camp was conducted under the guidance of experienced officers of the Indian Navy and NCC, providing cadets with practical maritime training and invaluable leadership experiences.
